About

Michael Daglish
Award-winning photographer based in Northeast UK, offering expert print, retouching, and exhibition install management services.
Daglish’s photographic practice is centered around the human condition and its interconnected relationship to land and water. The fragility of our everyday life is echoed in the
scar of a dry riverbed, or the shade offered by a monolithic rock. Often, his work depicts solitary individuals who devote their time to walking and climbing the land he explores. His latest ongoing body of work as yet unnamed explores some of the last few areas of preserved land spaces in the UK, focusing principally on formations of rock, and how these have been altered by the presence of humanity. Throughout this work he explores the land's history and the complex bond held between landscape and humankind.
